Even if many of us are still not very familiar with Lithuanian, you will enjoy this video. As part of Darom 2010 project, we (more than 100 Bite employees) spend a good amount of hours cleaning one of Vilnius parks.
Darom is an organized effort to lead the social environmental through a clearing/cleaning event. AKA getting many of us to help clean our cities after the winter
We Bite see this as part of our social responsibility and not only for all of us to participate as employees but also for the second year in a row Bite contributed to Darom by:
- Composing a Green Map
- Letting our customers know that this is important and we want them to participate. We sent 1 million SMS to let them know
- Giving free calls to the organizers
- Sponsoring the thanksgiving concert on past Saturday
We enjoyed doing so and contributing to our Green Strategy and our vision of becoming the most environmentally friendly Telco company in the Baltics
