Inspire by words of the "professional expatriate"

I was just reading an interview with British journalist (and owner of a nice bookshop in Riga, Robert's books) Robert Cottrell on the Baltic Outlook magazine. The article is called "professional expatriate", where Robert relates to his experiences living in many countries since he left the UK more than 15 years ago
I can relate to many of his words but there is one sentence that I truly like 
When describing than like anything else you get better a being a foreign the longer you do it, Robert says 
"...The longer you spend traveling in different countries, the more you start to think that everything is special and everything has its own merit, it's own reason to be"
